A Road Scholar Program by Dan Haughey

Historical actor Dan Haughey portrays Ulysses S. Grant, Union general in the Civil War and subsequently President of the United States.

This one-person show explores the formation of Grant’s character, the complexity and apparent paradoxes of his personality, and the roles of Galena and Springfield, Illinois, in his life.
