Join Illinois Humanities and Court Theatre for a community book group in Greater Grand Crossing, Bronzeville, Rogers Park, or Back of the Yards (en español).
As part of the book group, you will attend the production of Oedipus Rex at Court Theatre for free! Copies of the plays are also provided for free at the book groups.
The Oedipus Plays will continue through 2020 with discussions and attending productions surrounding each powerful installment: Oedipus Rex, The Gospel at Colonus (an adaptation of Oedipus at Colonus) in May 2020, and Antigone in November 2020.
