Calling all media makers, students, graphic designers, investigative reporters, artists!
February 4th marked the launch of an exciting national competition organized by the Illinois Humanities Council, with support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The Looking@Democracy Challenge offers a total of $100,000 in prize money for digital media pieces offering fresh, creative ideas and solutions to spark a national conversation on how we can all come together to strengthen and improve American democracy.
Looking@Democracy welcomes submissions in any digital format (videos, podcasts, apps, infographics, graphic art) that present creative ideas to help engage Americans and shift the political discussion in a fresh and engaging way.
Submissions will be accepted through April 30, 2013.
