Young immigrants shared their hopes and fears at a forum hosted by the Public Square’s Café Society at the Chicago Urban Art Society this week. Participants shared their questions and opinions on the DREAM Act, which failed to get through Congress, and the issue of undocumented workers in the U.S. Undocumented workers offered their perspective on what it means to have their whole lives ahead of them, but to be hit with roadblocks because of their status.
