Springfield Poets and Writers team up with Sangamon Watercolor Society.

Poets and writers view watercolor paintings from SWS members, select a piece that inspires them to craft a poem or short story, print and frame that work to display with the art exhibit.

During a reception, poems and short stories are read, artists talk about their work, and there are refreshments.

Following the evening the work is displayed for about a month.
