World Premiere: 'Band of Sisters' Screening & Discussion

Join us for the world premiere of Band of Sisters (88 min), a documentary film that tells the unforgettable story of Catholic nuns in the United States: how they responded wholeheartedly to the call of Vatican II, risked everything in their unwavering commitment to social justice, and made a remarkable transformation from “daughters of the church” into citizens of the world.

Band on Sisters will be screened from Friday, September 14th through Thursday, September 20th at the Gene Siskel Film Center.

Director Mary Fishman will be present for audience discussion at some of the screenings and will be joined by several Sisters.
