In this weekly open mic and workshop, Young Chicaog Authors will focus on the neighborhood of Avondale.

This panel discussion will feature a neighborhood actvist, a 45 year old resident of Avondale, and two recently transplanted suberbanites.

They will discuss the evolution of their neighborhodd and gentrification’s effects on it.

The workshop will be lead by Marvin Tate.
