Dr. Sloan R. Williams of the University of Illinois at Chicago will use his research in Peru to address how the study of DNA is being used to learn more about ancient ethnic groups of the region. In particular, he will examine the Osmore Valley of Southern Peru, the Nasca Valley, and the Moche Valley of Northern Peru.
