Housed in the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, the urban gateway to nature, this youth-created collection of curiosities magnifies everyday wonders of the Chicago urban ecosystem as experienced by young people living in our city.
The exhibit was built by over 750 youth from diverse Chicago neighborhoods in creative education partnerships with Redmoon, Chicago’s acclaimed Spectacle company. Using shadow animation, sound installation, surreal visual art, and performance Youth Spectacle is an extraordinary interactive event for audiences of all ages.
This program takes place on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of May.
