Riverwork, a 45-minute DVD presentation by historians Kay Ripplemeyer-Tippy and Herb Meyer, tells the hsitory of Illinois’ rivers from the glacial era through to the present. Using archival photographs and artwork to demonstrate the drastically changing rivers and man’s effect on them, they ask the question, “What is progress?”
