This free event includes a screening of the documentary, The Manzanar Fishing Club, and a discussion with the director/producer, Cory Shiozaki.
The Manzanar Fishing Club is a historical examination of the Manzanar concentration camp that held 10,000 Japanese Americans during WWII and a group of individuals who found a source of freedom in sneaking out of the camp to fish in the surrounding mountains.
