Two dozen Chicago-area residents who survived the Holocaust as children are represented in this new book, Out of Chaos: Hidden Children Remember the Holocaust, which is the result of a writing workshop conducted over several years.

Editor Elaine Saphier Fox reflects on the project, and survivors will read excerpts.

A reception and book signing will follow, along with the opportunity to view a special exhibition featuring these child survivors.

The program is included in the cost of museum admission.
