Join Rush Hour Concerts at St. James Cathedral and the Illinois Humanities Council in experiencing the sounds of the four hand piano.
This Tuesday’s Rush Hour performance will feature on piano: James Giles and Deborah Sobol. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with performers over refreshments before the concert begins.

Every Tuesday from June through August, meet your friends and chat with the performers over refreshments at 5:15 PM before settling into the historically significant and culturally stunning Cathedral.
Then, experience world-class music making at 5:45 PM with a free mini-concert by Grammy-winning and critically-acclaimed artists from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, The Chicago Chamber Musicians, and around the world.
In addition, gain insight into the performance with informative program booklets, personal conversations with the artists, and online program notes and blogs.
In 2007, Rush Hour continues its partnerships with the Consulates General of Brazil, China, France, Germany, and Great Britain to present concerts focusing on each country’s culture, music, and cuisine.
