Marlene Rivero will give a 1st-person presentation of Rose, the mother of York (of the Lewis and Clark Expedition), a presentation similar to a one-act play. This interpretation includes her wonderful solo performances of period slave and Gospel songs. Ms. Rivero has a rich and powerful voice and her interpretation of Rose has strongly moved her audiences. She is both a highly-accomplished singer and a reenactor.
