Riverine Walk: Quad Cities Railroad History

Walking tour and presentation about the history of railroads in the Quad Cities, including the famous Rock Island Lines, led by Roald Tweet. This event is a "Riverine Walk," part of River Action’s "Explore the River" education series.

Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 9 to 10:30 AM. The presentation will take place in conjunction with a walking tour, so attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly. Attendees should meet at River Heritage Park in the 700 block of East River Drive, Davenport, Iowa. Admission cost: free for members of River Action; $5 for non-members. (However, IHC funds have been used to provide free tickets to selected local organizations.) Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
