Public Interest Design

Bryan Bell, architectSEED (Social Economic Environmental Design Network) is a network of architects, designers, and other diverse experts in public interest design driven by the belief that design can support a community from the ground up. Design professionals work alongside locals who know their community and its needs to achieve the best of physical design and community impact. What kinds of processes and outcomes must be considered to achieve truly good design, one that meets the needs of contemporary society?

In this evening’s lecture, Bryan Bell, a SEED Co-founder, will present best practice and exemplary projects based on 15 years of research.

This program is presented as part of DCASE’s Up All Night with Architecture.
