Illinois Humanities presents its 2018 Public Humanities Award to Danielle Allen and Mannie L. Jackson. We are proud to honor both Danielle and Mannie for their tremendous commitment to educational opportunities and their numerous contributions to the humanities and our society as a whole.

The luncheon will be at noon at the Marriott Marquis, in the Grand Horizons Ballroom on the 4th floor, with a reception beginning at 11 AM. The hotel is in Chicago’s South Loop, adjacent to McCormick Place and the new Wintrust Arena. It’s easily accessible by car, CTA, and Metra.
