Muskrat Frenchmen and Their Livelihood: The Riverine Economy of the Southern Illinois French

Join the Waterloo Museum Society as they welcome Morgan J. Morgan who will speak about the French contributions to Monroe County. By re-creating a single day in the life of a French family living in the tiny village of St. Phillippe – just north of Fort de Chartres – we are able to glimpse the world of domestic French work.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the History Museum of Monroe County at (618) 939-5008.
