This film is screened as part of the Wilmette Public Library’s Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journey’s series.

Koran by Heart: One Chance to Remember is the story of three 10 year old children who leave their native countries to compete in one of the Islamic world’s most famous competitions. The film is a compelling and nuanced glimpse into some of the pressures faced by the next generation of Muslims.

Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys, a reading and discussion series, has been made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities in cooperation with the American Library Association.
