This program will feature an interactive discussion of 18th and 19th century communal furniture design by local woodworking artisan, Lon Simpson.
Simpson is classically trained in restoring and making furniture from the Icarian period and is also equipped to discuss the values and beliefs that guided the design and construction of the furniture used by the Icarians that settled in Nauvoo.
