Holiday Cooking with Chef Kocoa

Join us for a special Cafe Society pre-Thanksgiving live food demo with Chef Kocoa, Chef-Owner of Kocoa’s Kitchen and author of Cooking with Love. Chef Kocoa will be sharing some healthy recipes & tips for the holiday season.

Chef Kocoa Scott-Winbush of Kocoa’s Kitchen was profiled as a “rising star in the culinary world” by the Chicago Tribune shortly after her graduation from Washburne Culinary Institute now located in the new Kennedy King City College and she definitely lived up to expectations. She became one of Chicago’s best-known chefs as she enjoyed a three-year engagement as culinary correspondent for WGN-TV morning news program. She likens her unique style of cooking to jazz music—an exciting combination of natural cooking instincts, classical French training, improvisation, and the influence of several cultural and ethnic traditions. Her cookbook “Cooking With Kocoa” demonstrates her instinctual creativity in dealing with food. Today Kocoa is chef-owner of a thriving, multi-faceted culinaryconsultancy which includes food styling, teaching cooking classes to different age demographics and specializing in live food demos.
