Highland Park Arts Month Celebration Day

A celebration of the arts, featuring music, art, dance, theater, poetry, and storytelling by local Highland Park Arts Organizations.

Family fun awaits children and adults of all ages during Highland Park’s Arts Month Celebration Day Sunday, October 13 from 1-5 PM.

The event will feature music, art, dance, theater, poetry, and storytelling by many local arts organizations. Hands-on arts demonstrations and workshops for ceramics, drawing, knitting, and mosaics will also be offered, along with Halloween art projects. Participating arts groups include ARTicuLIT Reader’s Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Highland Park Strings, HPHS String Quartet, Irina Makkai Dance, Midwest Young Artists Jazz Combo, North Shore School of Dance, and Short Story Theatre.

Arts Month Celebration Day will take place at The Art Center – Highland Park, 1957 Sheridan Rd. It is sponsored by the Highland Park Cultural Arts Commission and the Highland Park Cultural Arts Network (HP CAN). Admission is free. Refreshments will be provided.
