Revolutions are the turning over of things. When the things turning over are wheels, we move. When other, larger things turn over, we experience change. But full revolution, at least in word, brings us right back to where we started. Revolution looks like it can mean smooth motion or stark revolt, continuity or break, Lance or Marx.

This week we’ll consider revolutions of various kinds from various perspectives. We’ll roll ourselves down the hills and up the hills and over the prairies, and we’ll let our minds revolve around some readings and some conversation. We’ll turn things over and return to where we started.
