Coles County’s oldest house (1830s) will host family-friendly free activities: woodstove and hearth cooking, cider pressing, bluegrass music, blacksmithing, white coopering (making wooden ware), spinning, weaving, phrenology (reading head bumps!), period games for kids

If you have a favorite lawn chair, bring it along. Bathroom available.
