The featured screenings are Sun Ra: The Magic Sun (1966) by Phill Niblock and Last Angel of History (1995/6) by John Akomfrah.

These screenings will be followed by a discussion led by John Corbertt, journalist and music critic. He will present key points in the portrayal of free jazz in a racially motivated society.
