Charles Schweighauser holds an MA in English from Williams College and is Professor Emeritus of Astronomy/Physics, Eenglish, and Environmental Studies at the University of Illinois-Springfield. He also served as Director of the University Observatory and has published considerably on astronomy and environmental issues.
