Dr. Clemens Reichel of the Oriental Institute will discuss excavations of early cities at Tell Hamoukar in Northeastern Syria.

This event, Early Cities and Urban Warfare, is presented by the South Suburban Archaeological Society (SSAS) and is funded in part by a mini-grant from the Illinois Humanities Council.
