Continuing Ed. was a  yearlong, statewide series of free public programs that put parents and schools back at the center of conversations about public education. At a time when the very idea of public education – its responsibilities, its public importance, and its future – seems to be in crisis, this series invited parents and local communities to share how they are responding to the changing face of public education.

Shot during the year of programming,  The Continuing Ed. : The Future of Public Education in Illinois profiles students, administrators, parents and teachers from the Chicago, Decatur, Elgin and Tamms communities. The Documentary will air on WTTW HD Check local listings for channel.
