Clandestinos: 'Horizontes,' 'Gozar, Comer, Partir,' 'Malegria,' and 'Video de Familia'

Clandestinos is a festival of film and video bearing witness to the Cuban people’s ingenuity, capacity for self-examination, and courage. The festival is a testament to how digital media has made its way into the landscape of Cuban film production. “Horizontes” is about two strangers with different dreams; “Gozar, Comer, Partir” is a humorous video about the verbs “to enjoy,” “to eat,” and “to part” “Malegria” is a conversation with French musician Manu Chao; “Video de Familia” centers on a family’s video-letter to an estranged son.
