CHICAGO BOOK LAUNCH: 'Against a Tide of Evil: An Evning with Dr. Mukesh Kapila'

Dr. Kapila is renowned as the “whistle blower” of the genocide in Darfur, for valiant attempts to alert the world of this atrocity well before 2003.

As the former head of the United Nations in Sudan, his new book Against a Tide of Evil reveals for the first time the shocking depths of evil plumbed by those who designed and orchestrated the genocide in Darfur and why so many stood by and did nothing.

This special evening will serve as the exclusive Chicago book launch for Dr. Kapila, where he will provide a deeply personal account of how he risked everything to use the powers at his disposal to bring justice to those responsible for the first genocide of the 21st century.

The program is included in the cost of museum admission.
Museum Admission: $12/Adult; $8/Senior (65+) & Student (12-22); $6/child (5-11)

Reservations are required and can be made via email at education@ilhmec.org.
