Dr. Norm Moline, professor of geography at Augustana College, will present a program about the ways communities transfigure and reconfigure themselves around changing routes of transportation. Dr. Moline has addressed this subject as part of a book he co-authored, Renewals and Recreations: River Towns on the Upper Mississippi. Hampton, and its many surrounding communities, are emblematic of the book’s themes.
