Clandestinos is a festival of film and video bearing witness to the Cuban people’s ingenuity, capacity for self-examination, and courage. The festival is a testament to how digital media has made its way into the landscape of Cuban film production. “Buscandote Habana” is a portrait of the people who emigrate from the interior regions of Cuba to Havana, searching for a better life; “Suite Habana” is a kaleidoscopic look at the city of Havana, a visually and acoustically rich place filled with movement, music and vigor.
