Brown Bag Lunch 'Strike' with Rosemary Feurer

Sycamore, Illinois, is widely known as a lovely, small, agricultural town, the county seat of DeKalb County. However, behind the scenes, the true lifeblood of Sycamore is a vibrant and active industrial base.

Dr. Rosemary Feurer from Northern Illinois University and former Anaconda employees will talk about the 1968 Anaconda strike in Sycamore.

The Sycamore History Museum is presenting this event, other events, and an exhibit to explore the history and role of manufacturing of the town.

This event is free and open to the public.  However, donations are welcome.
This event is part of the “Why Sycamore Works” project.
