Bronzeville Cultural Festival

The goal of the festival is to promote art, literature, and film created for, by, and about African Americans; to encourage literacy and education; and to shine a spotlight on the rich history of Chicago’s Bronzeville commmunity.

Films to be screened on June 19 include Twelve Disciples of Nelson Mandela and King in Chicago.

The festival runs through June 22, 2008.
