Bronzeville Cultural Festival

The goal of the festival is to promote art, literature, and film created for, by, and about African Americans; to encourage literacy and education; and to shine a spotlight on the rich history of Chicago’s Bronzeville commmunity.

Films to be screened on June 21 include Ten Days in Africa, Hip Hop Revolution, and Sisters in Cinema.

The festival runs through June 22, 2008.
