Bill T. Jones: A Life Well-Danced

Widely regarded as one of our greatest living choreographers, Bill T. Jones has challenged theatrical and political conventions in dance since he and his partner Arnie Zane took New York by storm in the early 1980s.

Since then, JOnes has created dozens of groundbreaking dance and theater works and received innumerable awards and honors, including a MacArthur Fellowship, a Tony Award, and the Kennedy Center Honors. While dance is Jones‘s palette, humanity is his canvas; there are few cultural leaders more engaging and articulate on subjects both personal and professional.

Join us for a riveting hour with a great artist. Onye Ozuzu, chair of the Dance Department of Columbia College Chicago, will join Jones for this conversation.
