Scholar and feminist activist Ruth Wilson Gilmore, author of the award winning book, Golden Gulag, will discuss her stunning critique of mass incarceration. Gilmore is a co-founder of Critical Resistance, a national organization working to end the prison industrial complex. Her visionary leadership has been instrumental in advancing the campaign to reduce the over-reliance on incarceration and to build alternative pathways to safety and justice.
