Beyond the Labels: What is The Impact of Income Inequality?

New data released by the U.S. Census Bureau indicates that the number of Americans living in poverty continues to be high, while the average U.S. household income remains flat. Whether you define yourself as lower, middle or upper class, these labels have a broader impact. How do income inequalities affect our lives, communities and the overall economy?

Join the IHC for a conversation about the wealth gap, class identity and more at the historic Chicago Cultural Center.

Questions for Consideration:

Given the many misconceptions about income hierarchy, how can we use media to better understand the impact of the economic class system on all of us?
