An energetic performance of world fusion music, Baka Beyond brings the rich culture of the Baka Forest People in Cameroon to the stage.

Baka’s rhythms are a lively collection of human sounds and handmade instruments that blend the melodies of African rhythm with ancient and modern Celtic traditions of Europe.

Audiences around the world have experienced Baka’s live performance — a tight spectacle of music, song and dance, overflowing with fun and exuberance; a feast for the eyes and heart as well as the ears and feet.

Proceeds from all of Baka’s performances benefit their charity, the “Global Music Exchange” which brings royalties “back to the musicians,” protecting endangered music and encouraging cultural respect.
