An L O Kari Holiday Party

2020… It’s been a year. But through it all — thanks to you! — we managed to stay connected and build community with leagues of incredible people working to end mass incarceration. Whether you contributed a video to our Rapid Response Series, applied for an Envisioning Justice grant, spoke on a panel, built a skill-sharing network, partnered with us, or just tuned in to a program to learn and reflect, you made this year meaningful, motivating, and inspiring. While we’re unable to follow our impulse to throw a big ol’ party and hug everyone about it (thanks again, 2020), we’d still like to celebrate with you. Hence…

Illinois Humanities invites YOU to

An L O Kari Holiday Party
Friday, Dec. 11th at 5 pm CST
Register below to submit a song request| Join the Set On Twitch

Tune in for one of L O Kari’s legendary sets and dance like (or because!) no one is watching. Want to feel connected? L O Kari is accepting limited requests and dedications! Register here to submit a request/dedication and we’ll do our best to hook you up. Want some face time? Call in and answer L O Kari’s prompts live and (almost) in person!

We hope you’ll join us and take an hour to dance, revel, and reflect on all you’ve accomplished in 2020 before we dive into what’s to come in 2021. Invite whoever you like! Eat snacks while you dance! Wear your comfy pants! Just make sure you tune in and ENJOY!
