After an absence of over 30 years, Dr. Donald Whitcomb of the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago returned to Iran at the invitation of the Iranian Cultural Heritage Organization. He will share details of his visits to Persepolis, Susa, and Kerman, as well as his observations on the devastation and recovery in the ancient city of Bam.
