An exhibit on the “Amish Use of Technology”, which consists of items the Amish currently use in their homes and businesses, and looks at the advances as well as the various adaptations they have created. Most non-Amish people believe the Amish live in the dark ages and do not use technology. This exhibit has been put together to show that this is yet another myth that has been spread about our quiet neighbors.
The exhibit will be on display Monday – Saturday and runs through March 30, 2005. Museum admission is $2.75 for adults, $2.50 for seniors and, $2.25 for children 6-11. For more information contact 1-888-45-AMISH or 217-268-3599.
