Abraham Lincoln/Civil War Exhibition

This collection of Lincoln and Civil War artifacts is a rare opportunity to experience living history. The exhibition includes one of four coats known to still exist that was worn at Gettysburg, and a soldier’s sword and scabbard, medals, and family photos. Also on display are letters and signatures of Abraham Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth, U.S. Grant, and Robert E. Lee. Docents will be on hand to enrich your visit to the exhibition with a documented history of each item. This collection has never before been exhibited in Illinois and is considered a national treasure.

Exhibition on display through February 24, 2008.
