Arts in Bartlett member, Greta Pfeifer, exhibits her watercolors, oil and pastel art

More About Artist

Greta Pfeifer came from a family of artists. Her formal training was at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and she has a bachelor’s degree in painting from Northeastern Illinois University. She has also taken classes at the DuPage Art League in Wheaton.

Pfeifer‘s favorite mediums are oil, watercolor and gouache, as well as mixed media and photography. Because she enjoys nature, her subjects are mostly landscapes, but she also enjoys the light, shadows and textures of still lifes, painting people and experimenting in abstract art.
