Five winners will be selected for a 2-3 hour tour of Englewood guided by life-long resident Tonika Lewis Johnson. Tonika will guide the small group through places and spaces in Englewood that highlight community activations and creative projects.

Along the way guests can ask her about her Artist as Instigator Residency with the National Public Housing Museum – and her ambitious vision for the acclaimed Folded Map project.

Each raffle winner will be presented with a collectors’ edition Folded Map kit and may invite one guest. Tour is appropriate for ages 10 and up.

2021 Public Humanities Beacon Awardee Dawoud Bey will lead an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the “Vault” at the Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) at Columbia College Chicago at Columbia College Chicago alongside MoCP Executive Director Natasha Egan.

This close and personal look at some of Dawoud’s iconic work includes a chance to hear his stories behind the images firsthand – to get to know the man behind the camera.

The Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago houses a world class collection of more than 16,000 extraordinary photographic objects. This package includes a one-hour tour of the Vault you and one guest, and lunch hosted by Illinois Humanities Executive Director, Gabrielle Lyon.
